Just to refresh you on my setup:
Hi Fi Rose Streamer into the Gaia, Gaia into Venus ll 12th Gen Via I2S, into Willsenton 300B Tube Amp, into Klipsch Forte lV speakers.
At first I did not notice a difference, I was feeding the Gaia over Coax from the Rose, to the Venus, comparing it to the Venus ll which I was feeding over USB from the Rose. No noticeable difference.
Then I tried to make it more equal. Feed the Gaia over USB, Venus over USB.
With the Gaia in the chain a noticeable difference.
Instruments were more distinct and separate from each other, especially at the low end.
So ultimately I am happy I made the purchase,
