Externally: The aluminum housing, on the one hand, can fix the internal core components such as aluminum foil and electrolyte; on the other hand, it can also play a certain role in heat dissipation and protection, preventing internal components from being affected by external forces or environmental moisture.
Internally: It is equipped with an adsorbent material impregnated with liquid electrolyte. The liquid electrolyte cooperates with the aluminum foil of the positive electrode and the aluminum oxide film to form the negative electrode conductive circuit of the capacitor. Compared with solid capacitors, the liquid electrolyte can meet the high-capacity requirement of this specification of capacitor.

It is not a universal transformer, but a custom-designed one specifically for the class A architecture and high-precision components of this preamp. This design avoids performance loss caused by "excessive or insufficient power supply", ensuring that every unit of electrical energy is accurately used for signal amplification.
A customized low-noise filter capacitor bank can effectively suppress fluctuations and interference at the power source. Combined with its filter capacitor architecture, it reduces power supply noise to an extremely low level.

These interface designs not only reflect DENAFRIPS' integration of "craftsmanship inheritance and technological innovation" but also build a long-term upgradeable high-fidelity ecosystem for audio enthusiasts from three dimensions: "connectivity, purity, and expandability."
It also has reserved Trigger input/output interfaces, which allow for synchronized power-on/off with other Hi-End devices (such as power amplifiers and headphone amp), creating an integrated intelligent audio-visual system.
The ATHENA is equipped with not only 4 balanced XLR inputs but also 1 single-ended RCA input. On the output side, it also offers dual specifications of balanced XLR and single-ended RCA, which are compatible with various power amplifiers. This enables high-fidelity transmission of a "full balanced signal chain" and eliminates signal loss associated with unbalanced interfaces.
