The Ares II has “changed my life”. Its like having a Stradivarius playing in my home, a Monet hanging on the wall (a Ferrari in the garage!). I matched it with a Schiit Freya + tube preamp and a powerful ss amp with my Klipsch Chorus speakers. Superb! Sublime! The best sound I have experienced in my modest home, and perhaps all I need in terms of being sufficiently audiophile! Thank you!
Yes the Ares is phenomenal, as I say a little bit life-changing. It’s like experiencing clear vision for the first time – it makes you appreciate all the tremendous effort and nuance that went into the recordings.
