Massive upgrade from what I had before

I ended up ordering an Ares 2 for now (needed to allocate some budget for upgrading my streamer). Hope to go to a Pontus or a Terminator in the future. First off, amazing fulfillment process - the DAC was shipped out 6 days after the order and arrived in hand today in 2 days! (with the timezone change) - amazing stuff.

Just listening to it will let it burn in - but very impressive. Massive upgrade from what I had before. The highs are richer, lot more detail, soundstage is way better and lots more separation.
