I bought the Ares II to replace my Bifrost Multibit DAC. What a significant improvement! The Ares II produces a big and natural sound; very easy to listen to. Very good separation between instruments.
The Ares II is a perfect match for my digital system, which includes a Raspberry Pi / Volumio streaming flac files, the Ares II, and a Bottlehead 2A3 SET amp driving Klipsch KLF20 horn speakers (100 dB sensitivity).
The service from Vinshine Audio has been excellent! Very quick shipping to the US. I definitely would buy additional products from Denafrips / Vinshine.
Looking forward to getting reacquainted with my CD collection.
