Wow. To put it frankly, I thought the Gaia 12th would be a subtle upgrade. I've lived with the same setup (Gaia and Terminator +) unchanged for almost 2 years and hearing the difference was instant. No change in character, no coloration, just clearer/easier to interpret sound.
The presentation with the Terminator + is already effortless, adding the Gaia 12th almost erases the headphones. The noise floor drops to a point of complete darkness and the music just flows freely.
I'll be posting impressions to Head-Fi and the Vinshine forum as I'm sure others are curious of the new 12th anniversary DDC line.
