Thank you for making such a fantastic product available for a very reasonable price. Prior to adding the Ares II to my system, I was using the internal DAC in the Cambridge CXN V2 streamer. Prior to using the CXN V2 in my system, I had a Schiit Bifrost 2 Multibit DAC. The CXN V2 DAC was a big improvement over the Bifrost 2. I started to look for another DAC to take my system to the next level. I came across a very large thread on the Steve Hoffman Music Forums about the Denafrips DAC's and primarily the Ares II. After reading through all the info, I decided to purchase the Ares II.
The Ares II brought my system to a whole new level. There was much more detail in the music I was listening to with the biggest improvement to the accuracy of the bass frequency range. The bass was much tighter and defined. I listen primarily to classic rock so the bass performance is very important.
The whole process from order to delivery was very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Denafrips and Vinshine Audio to anyone that is looking for a high quality DAC at a reasonable price.
