I just wanted to let you know that I recently updated my Ares II and I am very happy with sound improvement. I thought that it couldn’t sound any better, but obviously I was wrong. The images tend to float in a much clearer space in the soundstage. The music seems to come from a space that sits more clearly behind my speakers, in other words, the front wall seems to disappear easier. I also noticed that micro-dynamics are clearer. The pluck of acoustic strings seem more defined. All in all I am quite satisfied with my Denafrips Ares II. I feel like it’s new again. Thank you
