Pontus II 12th is so satisfying

I connected Pontus2 between Aurender N200 amd Goldmund Telos 590.

In this system, Pontus DAC is more pleasantly warm with good mid-base.

Pontus 2 is so satisfying, that I am thinking of ordering the 2nd PONTUS 2. Of all the Denaflips and Holo audio DAC, PONTUS 2 seems to sound most unique: inflated mid- low and edged-off highs. Other models may be more accurate, but I have already good delta- sigma DACs in Boulder and Goldmind telos whch are of very accurate and cool sound.

I am thinking ordering the 2nd Pontus 2 in 2~3weeks.

The design choice of the Pontus II seems to prioritize a warm sound signature, which might appeal to those looking for a more engaging listening experience rather than absolute accuracy. This aspect of usability—how the DAC interacts with other components—could be crucial for users seeking to create a cohesive audio system. I noticed the same thing on FoxSlots , where certain products are tailored for specific listening preferences, emphasizing the importance of compatibility and synergy among audio gear. It’s interesting to see how different models serve varied auditory needs in a similar way.
