The Pontus II is my first external DAC and I was not sure what to expect but having read all the positive reviews decided to place the order. Buying directly was a first too but you made it simple and it was an excellent experience. The introduction of the Pontus in my system brought it to an entire new level: more detailed, better imaging, soundstage, ...
I was so impressed that a week later I ordered an Hermes which was also my first DDS and it was again one more step in refinement. I will eventually upgrade to a Terminator as I am now curious to know how far better things can be!
