This week I received my order (Pontus II).
First, let me tell you that I am a very satisfied customer with the purchase of the DAC Pontus II. 2 months ago I bought the used Ares II DAC in order to listen to it even if the reviews are excellent. I believe your products are addictive because in not even 3 months I ordered the Pontus II.
I have been in DIY for over 40 years and have a great preference for the TDA 1541, PCM 63 and the AD1865 which are all R2R DACs. I have to admit that the Ares II and Pontus II really have an original way of presenting sound. Very musical and the emotion is easily present.
