I am extremely happy with the Athena. It took my system to a new level. Just fantastic.
The preamp is really the hearth of every system. Before purchasing it, I already had the Pontus II DAC, which replaced an Exogal Comet, but there was really no competition between them, the Pontus is way better for about half the price.
The rest of my system is an Auralic streamer and Nuprime ST 10 Monos, Sablon Audio and Swisscables cabling. Speakers are Spendor D7.
Very dynamic and detailed, excellent soundstage, superb tone.
