Denafrips BIC500 has really raised the bar in my stereo system. By experimenting with different power cables from wall socket to the BIC500, I have found that the quality of the incoming power cable is very decisive for what is available from its output sockets. My choice fell on the IsoTek EVO3 Ascension cable. The combined properties of BIC500 and the IsoTek cable raise the quality of the sound, even if I use lower grade power cables on the outputs to Pontus II DAC, Hermes DDC and CJ Preamp.
Now good recordings sound amazing - with more clarity, precision and better-defined soundstage. And the bass.. Wow!
