A presence which is uncommon for a digital device

Well, finally, the TIIs are in our respective houses!

First impression: impressive. Detailed, huge soundstage, presence, rounded bass, great treble. My Aqua La Scala sounds diminished in comparison, and it’s an outstanding DAC notwithstanding.

Let me add that the sound of the TII is outstanding. Incredible soundstage, excellent bass, mids and trebles. A presence which is uncommon for a digital device (at least for me). No digital glare, no sharpness, no aggressive transients.

And let me tell you that it’s competing with great DACs, like the Aqua La Scala MKII I just left. Previously, its place was filled by a PS Audio and before that, a Wadia.

Congratulations for all of you!!

Best,

https://casinomuchbetter.net has taught me to appreciate the quiet confidence of something that doesn’t need to shout, and your description of the TII’s presence hits that same note. The way it outclasses your Aqua La Scala without any digital harshness makes me wonder if I’m missing that kind of ease in my own setup.
