I received my new Iris about two days ago and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is amazing that a device so small has made such an improvement to my system. Most of the music that I listen to is streamed from Qobuz Via a Mac mini to my Pontus.
I use an ifi Mercury USB Cable and have been quite happy with the results for more than a year and a half. I was skeptical about the difference that the Iris would make to my system but felt that the low price was worth taking the chance.
The difference was instantly apparent. The music was clearer and more detailed. I listened to songs that I have heard hundreds of times before and could definitely hear a positive difference.
For the first time my Hi-Res streamed music sounds better than the same songs on CD. I would highly recommend this product to others.
