First impressions...
First of all I want to say that I am not a reviewer so maybe I will not use the most appropriate words, I want to talk about the latest arrival: Denafrips Hermes DDC, now I can finally use the HDMI (i2s) input of my Terminator, I notice improvements? Yes, mainly the human voices both male and female are more natural a little less dark if dark is the right word, they have not become acute but certainly more pleasant, the instruments especially the acoustic ones have greater precision and also the sound stage than in mine set-up was already satisfactory it has been further extended.
Would I buy it again? Yes.
The only negative point is the complete absence of instructions, not being a technician I would have liked it, even if the installation was not difficult, but having some kind of instruction I would have felt safer. (Manual can be downloaded here: https://www.denafrips.com/hermes)
