Whoever voiced this thing knows what music sounds like.

My Terminator’s up and running, and I could not be more delighted! The Vienna Philharmonic’s massed cellos beginning Sibelius’ Symphony #4 sound so real; an assessment I’m able to make having heard them play this music at Carnegie Hall 3 years ago.

In short, this DAC’s one magnificent piece of kit. To think, I have a phono cartridge that cost more than the Terminator.

I must thank you for you guidance, encouraging me to match the capabilities of the rest of my system with your top of the line DAC. Now I may listen to digitally sourced music for the sheer pleasure of it; no small thing.

Every thing I listen to via the Terminator engages and surprises. Streaming Solti’s recording of Richard Strauss’ opera Salome, which I have on LP and CD is a case in point. Huge sound stage in every dimension, instruments true in sound and texture, Birgit Nilsson’s incredible voice thrilling as ever. Whoever voiced this thing knows what music sounds like. Speaking of engaging, with Dorati’s recording of Stravinsky’s Firebird playing, I’m having a terrible time focusing on writing this email, so I’ll terminate it now.

Bien amities,
