As my first Denafrips device I ordered the Venus II December 2022 because I like to choose new things in the middle of the range: not the cheapest, not the most expensive.
Connecting the Venus II 12th to my system for the first time, I was amazed by what it brought right out of the box. After around 250 hours it really came to life and I thought I was completely happy.
Until -unexpectedly- I heard the Terminator II. And as things go, improvements don’t go out of your head easily.
So now a new black Terminator II 12th has been playing here since February 2023 and the Venus II 12th does it’s magic in it’s new owner’s house.
Compared to the Venus, the TII 12th sounds crispier, bigger, bolder, wider and deeper, by lack of better words. It is very much worth the extra money.
