Transformer intermittent hum?

Hi Alvin,
I’ve been hearing an intermittent hum from the Ares2. It is not audible just coming from the chassis. I know that toroid transformers are more susceptible to DC offset on the AC line. Have you seen this from others? Since there doesn’t seem to be a really good way to detect DC offset on the AC mainline, I’m going to try an IFI DC blocker. Do you think this is a good possible solution? Otherwise I am still loving the Ares2!!
